Do I need an account to use the tools?
No. Public tools do not require an account, sign-in or installation. Open the tool you need in a compatible browser.
Are the tools free?
Public tools, quizzes and blog content are currently free to access. The site is maintained independently; any price changes will be stated clearly.
What happens to my files and the data I enter?
Where possible, processing takes place in your browser. Some features may use external resources or server services. Read the privacy policy and avoid sharing sensitive information unless necessary.
Is there a file size limit?
Limits vary by tool and are listed on its page. Large files may slow down your browser or exceed available memory.
Do the tools work on mobile devices?
The site is designed for phones, tablets and computers. Performance also depends on your browser, memory and file size.
Are calculator results reliable?
Each calculation depends on the values entered and the assumptions shown by the tool. Results are estimates. For important health, financial or legal decisions, consult an official source or a qualified professional.
Are the quizzes scientifically validated?
The quizzes are for entertainment and light reflection. They are not validated psychological or professional assessments.
May I republish blog content on another website?
You may share a link to an article. Republishing the full content requires permission; see the terms of use.
How can I report an error or suggest a tool?
Email contato@convertearq.top or use the contact page. Reports help us identify problems and consider suggestions.
More common questions about files
What is the difference between converting and compressing a file?
Converting changes the format, such as changing a JPG image into a PDF. Compressing reduces file size while generally keeping the same format. You may need both steps; check the result afterward.
What is a searchable PDF?
It is a PDF whose text can be selected and searched. OCR can add a text layer to a scan, but recognition may contain errors. Check the recipient’s requirements and review the recognized text.
Should I use an online tool or installed software?
It depends on the task. An online service may be convenient for occasional use; installed software may suit batch processing, offline work or specific requirements. Compare limits, privacy and compatibility.
How can I reduce risks before opening a file?
Do not open an unexpected attachment before checking where it came from, even if it appears to be from someone you know. Show full file extensions, keep software up to date and avoid sending confidential documents to an external service without understanding how it handles them.
Does a scanned document have legal validity?
That depends on the country, document and purpose. A scan may not replace an original, authentication or required signature. Ask the receiving organization which formats and procedures it accepts; this page is not legal advice.
What does DPI mean, and which value should I use?
DPI describes dots per inch in printing and scanning. There is no single value for every document: source quality, legibility, file size and intended use all matter. Follow the recipient’s requirements.
Why can the same file look different on different devices?
Apps, available fonts, settings and rendering engines can change a file’s appearance. PDF helps preserve layout, but the result depends on the file and reader. Check it in a compatible reader.
Is cloud sync the same as a backup?
Not necessarily. Sync can also replicate changes or deletions. Keep independent copies, use version history when available and test recovery.
