Editorial Policy
ConverteArq publishes tools and guides about PDFs, images, documents, file organization, basic digital security and productivity. Our aim is to help people complete practical tasks in clear language, without exaggerated promises or a required account.
How content is created
Articles start from practical user needs: reducing PDF size, converting images, organizing documents, choosing formats and using online tools more safely. We favor useful examples, known limitations and steps readers can verify.
Technical review
Redação ConverteArq is responsible for the site. New pages disclose when AI assistance was used and distinguish that assistance from human review. We do not claim to have tested a provider or personally reviewed a page when that did not happen.
Updates
We update content and tools to correct errors, reflect technical changes, improve usability or clarify information. Important articles show an update date when a review makes a substantial change.
Editorial limits
We do not publish content that promises a medical diagnosis, a real prediction, personalized legal advice, guaranteed financial gains or help with fraud. Sensitive tools must serve a legitimate educational, informational or operational purpose.
Technology, images, benchmarks and science
Our blog covers technology releases, AI models, performance evaluations and scientific discoveries, including Nobel Prize research. Articles are written in Portuguese with AI assistance, factual synthesis and original commentary from the ConverteArq editorial team. We do not translate or republish complete third-party articles.
Announcement, publication and source-access dates are distinct. We describe limited access, prototypes and commercial availability according to the cited source. Science explainers distinguish discoveries, hypotheses and applications. We cover other awards when relevant context and a confirmed source are available.
Benchmark coverage names the test, version, metric, conditions and source. Manufacturer figures are attributed and are not presented as independent ConverteArq tests. Missing results are not treated as zero, and incompatible versions, scales or configurations are not combined into a ranking.
Images include specific alt text, a caption, credit and provenance. Third-party photographs require a verifiable license or permission. Original illustrations are identified and do not pretend to be documentary photos, laboratory results or real product screens. Charts cite their data; diagrams without a scale are not measurements.
We review topics at 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. São Paulo time. We publish only when a development is confirmed, useful to explain and fully checked. Without a relevant update, we preserve the edition and its date. Substantive corrections explain the error and the change.
AI, examples and news
Our AI section focuses on documents, files and productivity. New guides drafted with AI assistance identify that method alongside the author or ConverteArq editorial team. Fictional examples are labeled as exercises with original answer keys; they are not testimonials, commercial results or provider tests.
News uses open official sources, identifies announcement dates and adds original analysis of practical impact in a separate section. We do not republish full articles or create a page for every headline without adding useful context. Existing features are not presented as new releases.
Periodic checks change a bulletin only when a relevant development is confirmed. Otherwise its editorial date stays the same. The date a source was consulted is distinct from event and publication dates. A layout change is not described as a content review.
Before publication, we check sources, dates, stated limitations, links, metadata and presentation. We do not promise advertising approval, search rankings or correct results from an external AI system. Substantive bulletin corrections identify what changed and why.

News trends and editorial commentary
The blog covers general politics, technology, the economy, science, sports, culture and practical topics when there is evidence and useful context. A rising search can point to a public question; it does not prove a fact, measure voting intent or determine an article’s conclusion. We consult Google Trends groups in Brazil, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea and India when the interface supports the selected country and time window. We record the market, group, observation time, period and sort order. These groups are not a ranking of all Google searches or a worldwide ranking. Related terms may lead to one complete article.
