Enter both text versions to compare them.

How to read the diff

Lines prefixed with “+ ” were added, lines prefixed with “- ” were removed, and lines prefixed with two spaces are unchanged.

Comparison rules and privacy

  • Each text can contain up to 1,000 lines. Line endings are normalized; line content is compared exactly.
  • The comparison uses a longest-common-subsequence diff. If multiple alignments are possible, the tool chooses a deterministic one.
  • The result shows line changes; it does not judge whether the edits are correct or equivalent.
  • Both texts are processed in your browser and are not sent to the server. Avoid pasting sensitive content on shared devices.
