How to measure

  1. Place a sheet of paper on the floor against a straight wall.
  2. Stand on it with your heel against the wall and weight evenly distributed.
  3. Mark the longest toe and measure from the wall.
  4. Repeat for the other foot and use the longer measurement. adidas recommends measuring at the end of the day.

Why sizes are not universal

Brands and sizing systems can use different criteria. ISO 19407:2023 describes conversion tables based on foot length and notes that they are guidance because systems developed and have been interpreted differently. This tool labels the adidas chart it uses and does not claim the sizes apply to Nike, other brands, or every adidas model.

If your measurement falls between sizes

adidas suggests going one size down for a tighter fit or one size up for a looser fit. This is general brand guidance; foot shape, width, socks and shoe construction also matter. Check the product page chart before ordering.

Scope and source

Based on the adult footwear chart published on adidas US, checked 19 Oct 2026. US, UK, EU and JP labels follow that source. The dataset does not cover every children’s size, width, last or product-specific recommendation. ConverteArq is not affiliated with adidas.

Frequently asked questions

Does this convert every brand?

No. Results reproduce references from the adidas adult chart consulted. Other brands and models may use different mappings.

Should I measure my foot or the insole?

Measure your bare foot from heel to the tip of the longest toe. The shoe’s internal length and the “CM” value on a label are not necessarily the same as foot length.

What if my measurement falls between two rows?

The tool shows the adjacent chart rows. Compare the fit you want and check the model’s instructions; adidas suggests sizing down for a tighter fit and up for a looser fit.

Does this chart cover children?

No. The dataset is for adults. Use the brand’s official children’s chart for children’s footwear.
