Frequently asked questions
Does this check whether the slug is available?
No. It only creates a text identifier. Check uniqueness in the system that will store or publish it.
What happens to accented letters?
Common Latin accents are normalized, so “café” becomes cafe.
Can I use non-Latin scripts?
The output is limited to a–z and 0–9. A title containing only other scripts can produce an empty result.
